The Earthbound

Protector of the MayRock Commune. After the Pulse-event (the Awakening), which rewrote both the world and the trajectory of history as they knew it, there was one region impacted particularly hard.  The MayRock Commune was where most of - - got their raw resources, and as such was less a city and more an assembly of towns coalesced around one large mountain pass where the people of those respective communities cultivated the raw material the world at large would need.  For decades before the Pulse the region was known as a retirement cubby, a blissful and simple place to live; but after the Pulse all of that changed. Creatures in the region became warped and insidious, new beasts were born from the belly of the world as if incarnations of demons themselves and just as the area seemed to have lost all hope .. Ix appeared. Little is known about the faceless golem, save that it wanders the region nomadically.  At first it was a rumor, a myth of this rock-like creature sprung to life to save a lost child from a heinous monster, or a supply train not having some calamitous fall off of the tracks because of this enigmatic creature .. But soon enough it was well known that the MayRock Commune had their own hero.

Ix is an easy going, seemingly friendly creature.  It roams purposely throughout the region, protecting the citizens, crops, farmland, and everything with a host of other, lesser champions such as himself that help keep the once wild, savageland now tame.
